WWPS 8th and 12th graders participated in the SENCA Poverty Simulation. This simulation shows students what help is available in the community, the struggles that families may go through, how to work out of poverty and how to plan and budget.

The Veterans Day celebration at WWPS featured guest speaker Megan Kallina, Legion Post #237 Colorguard, and presentations from our Girls & Boys State Representatives, Band, and Choir. Thank you to all who served and were able to attend today's event.

Avery H, Kaylee T, & Kole B shared the "Presidential Proclamation on National Veterans and Military Families Month."
The band and choir performed a joint rendition of "America the Beautiful" as part of today's program.  Members of the band also played "Taps" to close out the ceremony.
The WWPS Choir sang the "Star Spangled Banner" and "In Flanders Fields" as part of today's Veterans Day celebration.
