I was part of a meeting that included the governor, medical experts, & superintendents. Based on the info provided at this meeting and given our characteristics, WW will be open on Friday. The district continues to work with experts to ensure the safety of our students.

WWPS is aware of concerns about potential COVID-19 exposure. We have been in touch with the health dept. There are no known cases of COVID-19 exposure to any WW students or employees at this time. Given the current info (1:00pm/Mar 9), school will resume tomorrow as planned.
8 Weeping Water students represented the state of NE in the 2020 North Central American Choral Directors Association Honor Choirs. 650 students from 12 states were selected through auditions to be part of 4 different choirs. What an honor!

A reminder that Wednesday, March 4 is a 1:30 dismissal for the start of spring break. Classes will resume Tuesday, March 10.
